French fashion brand Dior has launched Les Salons D’Exception in Taiwan since 2022. It is named after the salon that represents French culture, creating a luxurious custom space and injecting the brand’s elegant and tasteful haute couture spirit into personal services (made to order).
The men’s custom series is mainly divided into suits and fashion. The first is the men’s suit series, which combines classic slim fit and representative works of designers from past generations to provide a “set customization” exclusive service for men, including a variety of suits for various occasions and standard three-piece suit vests, etc., and there are as many as 400 fabrics to choose from; detailed decorations include buttons, linings, edge treatments, sleeve styles, etc., and shirts can also be embellished with bees, CD words and other embroidery patterns in various colors.
Fashion mainly shows the charm of the individual through delicate and rare embroidery, fabric upgrades, self-selected leather colors and other options. The men’s fashion shows in the salon include coats, leather jackets, shirts, leather shoes and Saddle bags. Through embroidery, beads and sequins are added to give more decorative elements. The fabrics of casual hooded jackets and knitted tops are also upgraded to cashmere cashmere to add luxury.
All customizations require about half a year to wait, and are made by experienced craftsmen in Italian and French workshops, making them more exclusive.
The salon also displays many jewelry works that are coming to Taiwan for the first time, including the Diorigami diamond and colored gem rose gold lacquer series that were just exposed at the Dior Kyoto show. Inspired by the oriental art of origami, it brings visual novelty to Dior’s iconic romantic flower elements.
Les Salons D’Exception is on display for a limited time from now until May 25 at No. 13, Section 2, Nangang Road, Nangang District, Taipei City (Bottle Cap Factory Taipei Manufacturing Plant), and is available by private appointment.
