That’s why he’s dedicated his time to the Dior Backstage Collection, the ultimate “survival kit.”
“I redesigned all the essential items in a makeup bag, not just for makeup artists, but for all women who want to create professional makeup looks with intuitive, easy-to-use products and tools,” Philips shared with us. The collection, which launched last week at Dior Cruise, includes revamped face and body foundations in 40 different shades, some with rose, olive, and yellow undertones.
Diversity in makeup has long been an issue for women of color, but thanks to the pioneering efforts of Rihanna and Fenty Beauty, now major luxury makeup brands like Dior are following suit. That’s really commendable.
