Tonight, Dior presented its Cruise 2026 collection in Rome, a fashion feast full of elegance and heritage in the Eternal City. The French luxury brand’s Cruise show, set in the Villa Albani Torlonia, has never been used for a fashion show before.
For Dior Creative Director Maria Grazia Chiuri, it was undoubtedly a homecoming experience, returning to her hometown with a collection that pays tribute to Italian craftsmanship and tradition.
Guests enjoyed a wonderful performance in the manicured gardens of the Italian villa: dancers shuttled between paths and courtyards, showing elegance and strength, which were later displayed on the catwalk.
The dress code of the evening was equally ingenious: the female guests seemed to be dressed in white, while the male guests wore black, adding a touch of color to the visual beauty of the evening. (Many stars wore see-through dresses, too, like Ashley Parker and Alexandra Daddario.)
Dior’s Cruise 2026 collection embodied a whimsical, romantic aesthetic, with a series of ethereal white gowns that ranged from fluid, see-through silhouettes to structured styles.
Nude dresses seemed to be everywhere. This latest show continued the ongoing see-through trend, with plenty of see-through dresses in lace and other sheer fabrics.
Ruffles draped the hems of skirts, adding movement and drama, while delicate lace, floral embroidery, and sparkly embellishments elevated the texture and elegance of each look.
Some dresses were ethereal and flowing, while others were precisely shaped to the body, showcasing Chiuri’s mastery of combining femininity with strength.
As night fell in the villa, the show was a thoughtful tribute to heritage and tradition. Read on for the best looks from Dior’s Cruise 2026 collection.
