Dior has unveiled a new range of soft lip glosses and a star-studded brand ambassador campaign.
Blackpink member Jisoo stars in the campaign (wearing 001 Pink), Anya Taylor-Joy wears 077 Candy (an ambassador since 2021), and new brand ambassador Willow Smith wears 006 Berry.
Photographed by Dan Beleiu, each star is dressed in a soft pink sweater and holding their favorite lip balm. Directed by Valentin Herfray, the campaign features Dior muses sporting their favorite lip glosses to Artemas’ angst-ridden TikTok hit “I Like the Way You Kiss Me.”
The French luxury brand’s new lip balm range now includes warm tones in addition to the previous cool tones, thanks to a new patented ingredient. What does this mean? Now there are more shades to choose from to perfectly flatter all skin tones and undertones.
New shades include 006 Berry, a more plum-like color, and 077 Candy, a shimmery warm pink. Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director of Dior Makeup, also introduced two limited-edition pastels, 078 Icy Blue and 203 Citrus. There are now 21 shades, each with its own box engraved with the brand’s logo.
“After years of research and experimentation, we are proud to announce that we have finally cracked the secret. We are now able to offer lipsticks in warm and cool tones that enhance the natural pH of the lips. This range of lipsticks is timeless, pampering and delightful,” Philips said of the new products in a press release.
The launch is the first to feature “Cool Reviver” technology, which automatically adjusts to the pH level of the lips so that the color of the lipstick blends perfectly with the natural color of the lips. Each lipstick provides 48 hours of hydration and retails for $42.
Dior Addict Lip Glow will be available on December 15th and will be available at Sephora on December 26th.
