Bella Hadid Digs into the Archives to Find Pirate Boots

by Tina

Bella Hadid debuted her newly dyed honey blonde hair and a collection of dress code-shattering looks during her brief but impactful visit to the Cannes Film Festival.

The model flew straight from the Croisette to London for the UK launch of her fragrance brand Orebella, bringing with her a collection of vintage, British brands and Bella Hadid-style sartorial essentials.

Hadid first chose the Fruity Booty dress with fringe and denim “browtfit” while filming Chicken Date with Emilia Dimodenberg. And for the Orebella launch, she also wore a fashion piece that went down in history: a silver dress with sparkling rosettes from John Galliano’s fall 1997 collection, which Milla Jovovich also wore to the premiere of The Fifth Element at the 1997 Cannes Film Festival.

Later, she headed to Clerkenwell’s Sessions Arts Club for dinner in a low-cut white latex dress by Kylie Jenner’s Khy, paired with glittering silver heels.

But Bella’s other “brown variation” look gave her the opportunity to delve into the essence of classic British fashion. She was photographed wearing a high-necked sleeveless cream top, a beige suede mini skirt, a chocolate brown jacket, and Alexander McQueen boots from the 2003 Spring/Summer collection. The pirate-style flap boots, with textured details, are full of vintage style and impressive.

Will Bella go antique hunting in Brick Lane on the weekend? We’ll have to wait and see what special classic pieces she’ll pick up or wear while in London.
