Now, I know what you’re thinking. No, Glossier didn’t have an acne treatment, despite all the fresh-faced girls in its ads. But for those of you with oily skin who are fans of the brand, rejoice!
Because now you can get an acne treatment without having to go elsewhere (and with free shipping if you spend a certain amount). The new product is called Solution, and not only because it’s an acne treatment (chemically speaking), but also because it’s a solution to your acne problems. It’s a daily product that’s packed with AHAs, BHAs, and PHAs, each of which helps break down pimples and clear pores.
Glossier backs this up. In a clinical trial, three-quarters of participants said it was the acne treatment they’d been looking for, and 94% of participants with acne-prone skin said their skin felt clearer.
It’s a pump-on product, so you press a cotton pad onto the dispenser, soak it in, and then rub the pad across your skin. If you use cheap tissues, it’s not the most eco-friendly way, but the brand’s 100% natural cotton pads or other natural cotton pads are biodegradable and earth-friendly!
