A year after MVP and Ralph Lauren Fragrances teamed up for Polo Est. 67, they’ve teamed up again for Polo 67 Eau de Toilette.
To prove just how strong the new juice is, Judge, 33, channels his game in a stunning new campaign.
For the New York Yankees captain, who’s been wearing cologne since he was about 14, the new Polo 67 is the epitome of boldness.
“Someone once told me that Polo 67 smells like confidence in a bottle. That stuck with me because wearing this fragrance means being confident and being your true self,” Judge told PEOPLE in an exclusive interview.
This new version takes the earthy and woody Eau de Toilette to a new level. It opens with bright citrus notes and aromatic cardamom, before ripe pineapple, warm cedarwood, and benzoin resin take center stage.
Judge was particularly drawn to the pineapple scent. “It’s definitely my favorite,” he shared. “It’s vibrant, energizing, and reminds me of how I feel during a game. The bold blend of freshness and sweetness is what makes this fragrance so addictive.”
He notes that the fragrance overall is a “bold, sporty scent that’s a great complement to EdT” and that he has found a key place in his daily routine.
“I wear cologne almost every day, whether I’m going to the supermarket, the gym, or playing ball,” he says, adding, “This new EdP is perfect for when I want something a little more intense after a game.”
Judge doesn’t have a basic grooming routine, as he calls his grooming routine.
“I start with cleanser, moisturizer, hair products, and finish with Polo 67—depending on where I’m going or what I’m doing, I’ll use either EdT or EdP (two sprays on my neck), he says.” All in all, he spends 15 minutes each morning and night.
Still, it’s both a source of calm and a confidence boost for the elite athlete.
“Giving myself some time helps me mentally prepare and focus on what I need to do that day,” Judge goes on to explain. “I would say I feel most confident when I’m well prepared.
That could be for a big game or a Ralph Lauren fragrance shoot. Being well prepared and genuine boosts my confidence.”
Also crucial is his post-game recovery. “After a game or a hard workout, I always go to an ice bath, usually for 10-15 minutes. I’ve been doing this for years, so it’s an essential part of my routine to stay in top shape.”
Judge also tries to get nine hours of sleep a night, noting that rest is “very important for staying healthy, both mentally and physically.”
Of course, his beauty and wellness routine wouldn’t be complete without a trip to the barbershop to get his dream haircut.
“I go to the barbershop probably every two weeks to keep my hair neat and ready for the game,” Judge told People. “It’s all about looking clean, sharp, and professional.”
Finally, Judge assesses his “fit.” With all eyes on what players wear on game day, the 6-foot-7 Bronx Bomber said, “I usually choose something that I know I’m going to look good in and feel comfortable in. Game day is all about comfort and style.”
While Judge is enjoying the new scent, there’s another scent that takes a top spot in his heart, and that’s “freshly cut outfield—no doubt,” he shared. “For me, that’s baseball. It smells like home.”
In launching the EdT, Ralph Lauren Fragrances also unveiled a meaningful tagline: Design Your Dream.
Since last spring, several of Judge’s dreams have come true. Not only was he named captain for the 2026 World Baseball Classic, calling it a “huge milestone in my career,” but he and his wife, Samantha, welcomed their first child.
“Becoming a father is my biggest accomplishment to date,” he said.
Now, he’s focused on another goal: helping his team win a World Series title.
