The 64-year-old actress recently ditched her signature long red hair for a shorter style — a sleek, shoulder-length bob. Moore showed off her new look while out and about in New York City on Tuesday, May 27.
She paired her fresh style with an equally chic ensemble: a denim vest and matching pleated trousers. The star layered a white t-shirt underneath, accessorizing with black square-toed boots, a woven bag, and sunglasses.
Earlier this month, Moore made her debut at the 78th Cannes Film Festival. At the premiere of The Phoenician Project on May 17, the Oscar winner stepped out on the red carpet in a black one-shoulder gown with her cropped locks tied into a low ponytail.
At the New York premiere of Netflix’s new series Sirens on May 20, she styled her hair into a sleek, center-parted style that framed her face.
When she shared photos from the premiere on Instagram, fans were quick to give her short hair compliments.
One user wrote: “Your hair looks great!!”.
Another said: “Loving the new hair.”
A third wrote: “So chic hair! Love you! Can’t wait to see it!”
Sirens, which premieres May 22, is based on the play Elemeno Pea by Molly Smith Metzler and tells the story of Devon (Meghann Fahy) who heads to the picturesque seaside estate where her sister Simone (Milly Alcock) works for billionaire Michaela (Moore) after her father is diagnosed with dementia.
As she arrives on the island, Devon grows increasingly concerned about Simone’s creepy relationship with Michaela and the way Michaela is running her estate like a cult.
Moore will also play Sydney Sweeney’s mother in the upcoming TV series Echo Valley.
Apple TV+ has released a trailer for the “gripping thriller” co-starring Domhnall Gleeson, in which Moore plays Kate, “a mother struggling to reconcile with her troubled daughter Claire (Sweeney, 27),” according to the official synopsis.
The situation between Kate and Claire “takes a turn for the worse when Claire shows up on Kate’s doorstep, hysterical and covered in someone else’s blood,” the synopsis adds.
“As Kate pieces together the shocking truth in this gripping story of love, sacrifice, and survival, she learns just how far a mother will go to save her child.”
Echo Valley premieres on Apple TV+ on June 13.
