In what was undoubtedly the highlight of the night’s pink carpet show, Gaga showed off more than just her layered makeup. Her skin also debuted Marc Jacobs Beauty’s first skincare product, Youthquake Hydra-Full Retexturing Gel Crème.
Gaga’s longtime makeup artist Sarah Tanno used sodium hyaluronate and bromelain cream as a primer and moisturizer.
Like her pink carpet show, Gaga also skipped foundation, using Youthquake Crème and Accomplice Concealer & Touch-Up Stick to plump up her skin. Before the star took to the stage, Tanno added Accomplice Instant Blurring Powder to Gaga’s high-definition makeup.
During the show, Gaga suddenly pulled out an ’80s cell phone, and her entourage joined in the dance. Lady Gaga and Marc Jacobs Beauty were both lost in thought when Sarah Tanno handed Lady Gaga a Le Marc Liquid Lip Color in Flaming-Oh! to match her bright pink Brandon Maxwell gown.
Facing a hand mirror held up by a concierge, Gaga dramatically reapplied her lip gloss, drawing cameras and screaming audience members. Tanno powdered her face with The Face II Sculpting Foundation Brush No. 2 mid-show, before Gaga dropped her phone and the rest of her clothes.
Thank you for giving us life, Gaga. You win.
