Two days after the Met Gala in New York, where Kylie Jenner wore a semi-sheer Ferragamo gown and Timothée Chalamet skipped the event, the couple made an appearance in Rome. Wednesday night’s appearance marked their first red carpet appearance.
Jenner and Chalamet walked the red carpet for the 70th anniversary of David di Donatello together, wearing the same outfit. Jenner’s gown was designed by French brand Schiaparelli and featured a low-cut, semi-sheer fabric from the brand’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection.
Styling duo Alexandra Rose and Mackenzie Grandquist were responsible. Chalamet matched Jenner’s look with a tailored look: he wore a double-breasted velvet suit and a white floral brooch. The two posed together, sometimes with a little affection.
The event, held at Rome’s Cinecitta Cinemas, celebrated the best Italian films of the past year.
The pair have been dating since the spring of 2023 and have been going strong. Earlier this month, they had a few date nights together during awards season and were later spotted on a courtside date in New York.
The choice of Schiaparelli as the brand ambassador for the event was a smart move, as Jenner and her sisters are big fans of the brand and close friends of the fashion house, which is currently under the helm of Daniel Roseberry.
Kendall Jenner is no stranger to Schiaparelli’s runway shows (although Kendall did not model for the show where Kylie’s dress was worn, she did walk in the couture runway last season). Kylie also wore a replica of a stuffed lion at the Spring/Summer 2023 couture show.
