After two successful collaborations with Coach, Selena Gomez returns with a collection of apparel in addition to accessories. As seen in the campaign photos, shot by legendary photographer Steven Meisel, the pieces reflect her more effortless style over the past year. Given her recent activism for mental health, she decided to combine the two and used this as the motto for the collection: “Imperfect, Always.”
In the campaign, shot by legendary fashion photographer Steven Meisel, Gomez wears a lace camisole and silk slip with a soft knit jumper. The clothes and the musician’s feminine power are perfectly matched to the New York City landscape, which has always been at the heart of Coach’s campaigns, conceived by Creative Director Stuart Vevers.
“We wanted to bring some cool new ideas, and I’m excited for her to experiment with apparel and accessories this time around,” Vevers said.
Gomez has been the face of Coach since 2016, and last August launched her first collaborative collection of bags and leather goods. This month, the Grace, Bond and Trail bags will be updated with new silhouettes and vintage-inspired details.
