Chris Pratt Unrecognizable with Long Hair and Beard on TV Shoot

by Tina

Chris Pratt looked unrecognizable on the set of The Last List Season 2.

The 45-year-old actor shared a video on Instagram on Friday, June 6, showing off a thick, long beard, mustache, and long, curly hair. He explained that he was taking a break from filming the TV series based on Jack Carr’s novel True Believers to grab some lunch.

“I just want to say, the hair and makeup are amazing!” Pratt said. “My team did an amazing job.”

“Look — I don’t want to tell you what I did, but I have blood on my hands,” he continued, referring to the special effects makeup.

Pratt then revealed that the facial hair on his face wasn’t caused by not shaving.

“They did an amazing job with the makeup and the hair,” he said. The beard is like a wig — it’s a fake beard. It looks incredible.

“The most crazy thing about wearing a fake beard or a fake mustache is when you eat, the hair falls into your mouth, which is gross because it has to be someone else’s hair,” the Passengers star said. “And you don’t know whose it is or where it’s from. I mean, look at that hair. Where did it come from? I mean, it’s not, you don’t think it’s… it’s not. Is it somebody else’s pubic hair?”

“No, whatever, I don’t care. I’m hungry,” the actor said at the end of the video before heading off to eat lunch.

Amazon Prime Video’s The List tells the story of a Navy SEAL who returns home with conflicting memories after his platoon is ambushed during a covert mission. The series is based on the novel series of the same name by Jack Carr, the first volume of which was published in 2018. Pratt stars alongside Constance Wu, Taylor Kitsch, Riley Keough and more.

Pratt spoke publicly about the death of former Parks and Recreation co-star Jonathan Joss before the set. Joss was shot and killed at his home in San Antonio on Sunday, June 1 at the age of 59.

On Monday, June 2, the actor posted a photo of Joss’ obituary, which featured a photo of Joss, who played Sheriff Ken Hotchkiss on the NBC sitcom. Pratt also noted that Joss had starred with him in The Magnificent Seven, the 2016 remake of the 1960 classic Western.

“Damn. R.I.P. Jonathan. He was always such a kind guy,” Pratt wrote on Instagram Stories. “So sad to see him go. Pray for him. Hug your loved ones.”
