by Tina

The 46-year-old actress shared in an Instagram post on Tuesday, June 17, how she and her glam team helped her into her red carpet gown after her hair and makeup were done.

In a series of photos and videos, Saldanha wore a sheer white mesh that covered her head and half of her face so she could wear a burnt orange turtleneck without ruining her glam.

“This is your GRWM,” the Oscar winner wrote in the caption, tagging her stylist, makeup artist, and hairstylist.

“@petraflannery crafted a fabulous ensemble without getting in the way of the art done by @makeupbyvera7 and @mararoszak,” she added.

Saldanha was heading to Los Angeles for the premiere of her latest children’s film, Elio. She wore a structured top with an orange pencil skirt, black leggings, and pointy-toe heels. Her hair was casually tied up in a high bun and she wore a red lip.

The star also brought her three sons, twins Bowie and Cy, 10, and her youngest son Zen, 8, to the premiere on Tuesday, June 10.

On the red carpet, the boys wore navy blazers, white button-down shirts, dark blue jeans, and sneakers. The couple decided to spend a family night together after Saldanha shared how she got “likes” from her kids when she starred in a children’s movie.

On June 4, Saldanha spoke on Good Morning America about her involvement in the kid-oriented Disney film.

“Since becoming a parent, I’ve always been really passionate about incorporating my art into art forms that cater to children,” Saldanha said. “That way I can relate to kids and I can get some cool vibes out of it as a mom.”

“But my 8-year-old can’t wait to see Elio come out,” she continued.

The actress has three sons with husband Marco Perego.

During an interview with People at the premiere, Saldaña was asked where her Oscar is kept.

Earlier this year, she won her first Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Emilia Pérez.

“We have it in our office, my Oscar is gender fluid,” she shared, adding that the statuette is “trans” and “they/them.”

In the Spanish-language musical crime drama Emilia Pérez, Saldaña plays Rita, a lawyer who is tasked with helping the film’s protagonist (Carla Sofia Gascón) get gender confirmation surgery to escape her life as a drug cartel boss.
