Michelle Williams hit the streets of New York City on Monday afternoon in an outfit that was perfect for the warm weather. The actor was promoting her upcoming series Dying for Sex on FX. She was wearing a Chanel ensemble that was the perfect example of how to dress for transition.
Williams wore a cream bouclé cropped sweater with a check pattern that was dotted with shimmering spots of color. She paired it with a crop top that was perfect for sunny weather, an ivory crossbody bag, and a pair of high-waisted straight-leg jeans (one of the most popular denim silhouettes for 2025).
For footwear, the Fabelmans actor wore a pair of oiled leather high-heeled mules that also looked to be Chanel. Going against the current maximalist jewelry trend, the actor forgoes earrings, rings, and bracelets, opting for a gold chain that matched the metallic embellishments on her crop top.
Earlier in the day, the 44-year-old wore a black suit with a tailored jacket and trousers, with a white floral brooch pinned to her lapel. For this appearance, she kept her sunglasses from before, but switched to platform heels.
It made sense for Williams to wear the French brand for the press conference, as she has proven her loyalty to the brand, whether wearing Chanel at the Met Gala or attending fashion shows.
