Nicole Kidman traded in her wellness cult leader garb for a crisp suit at the season two premiere of Nine Perfect Strangers.
The actor reprised her role as Masha Dmitrichenko, the Russian founder of a questionable sanatorium. Her premiere look was styled by Haider Ackerman.
Styled by Jason Bolden, Kidman chose look #50 from Ackermann’s debut for Tom Ford: a black sequined single-breasted blazer with a plunging neckline that dropped just below the sternum, defined shoulders and an icy white gardenia on the lapel. Along with the fitted trousers, Kidman accessorized with a pair of black leather gloves and a pair of black pointy-toe pumps.
Nicole Kidman is far from the only fan of Ackermann’s Tom Ford. Cate Blanchett opted for a more colorful suit when she attended the Black Bag magazine press conference in March, wearing a pale pink suit with a neon green shirt, which complemented the designer’s impeccable suiting style.
Michelle Williams, meanwhile, also chose a black double-breasted suit while promoting the film Dying for Sex in April. Of course, none of this has anything to do with Ackermann’s number one fan, Timothée Chalamet, who attended the David di Donatello Awards in Rome just last week in a black velvet double-breasted suit.
With these stylish celebrities joining in, we can expect to see more of Haider Ackermann’s exquisite tailoring on the catwalks.
